Boogie Angst is proud to present ‘Control,’ the latest single from renowned Rotterdam producer and artist Moods alongside alternative electronic duo Two Another.

Returning to the label of the heels of debut LP Zoom Out, which garnered more than 25m streams worldwide and global tastemaker support, Moods links up with rising British/American duo Two Another, whose soulful blend of alternative R&B and contemporary electronic music was thrown into the spotlight through breakout single ‘Keeping Me Under’ and their 2019 debut LP Another Tape.

“I remember being very influenced by Prince while working on the Control beat,” explains Moods. His more uptempo work really clicked with me at that time. It felt like the ‘Control’ demo really needed vocals and at that time I was in touch with Eliot from Two Another.”

“I went for a trip to Amsterdam to meet up and we worked out a rough version of the track. After that we needed one more session to wrap things up vocally & record guitar parts with Yasper. The whole process was real smooth and it was such a pleasure to work with these guys.”

Having more recently focussed on instrumental offerings, including Chillhop EP Sofa Stories alongside Yasper, ‘Control’ sees Moods reaffirm his ability to apply those beautiful beats and vivid composure to all manner of vocal talents. Two Another’s sultry vocal stylings and distinct songmanship play in a testament to the duo’s broad geographical footprint and collaboratively charged nature, bringing two undisputed powerhouses of the indie R&B space together for a soulful highlight of 2020.
